ALEX LVE WANG
Lve Wang was born in Boston, USA. He moved to Tainan, Taiwan with his family. He grew up with the nurturing of Tainan culture. In 2007, he was granted a scholarship and studied at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. He co-founded the acanned.com, and online culture magazine while attending the university. He then returned to Taiwan after graduation and devoted in large art creations. In 2012, he was invited to conduct a 10-day behavioral creation for a laboratory space at REC Creative Laboratory, Tainan. In the same year, Wang was invited to involve in a strategic alliance and 4-month extended commercial campaigns for Jia-Jia Group.
He held the first solo exhibition in Taipei called “Cell of Dreams & Infancy Aging Illness and Death,” Garden City Publisher in 2014 and was awarded wit recognition in creation and sales performance. After the exhibition, he visited Dharamshala, India – an area of preservation of Tibetan culture and carried a 45-day religious practice for the purpose of cultural study. He was invited to hold the second solo exhibition, “Dream from other Sphere,” VVG Thinking at Huashan Culture Park, Taipei in July, 2015. In particular, two exhibits from the exhibition were collected by White Rabbit Gallery from Australia. By the end of the same year, he was invited to represent Taiwan and participate in POW WOW by drawing a five-floor large wall painting for the represented Zhengyi Public Housing near Zhongxiao Fuxing, Taipei.
